Personal Statement

This is a short exercise to get you thinking about your skills and experience that will help you in teaching yoga to children. This will have been sent via email. Deadline is Friday 26th Jan

Film 3 x Short Teaching Videos

After each online yoga class via Zoom you will be asked to submit a video of yourself teaching part of the yoga class for feedback. This can be submitted via Whatsap or email. The video does not need an audience and can be filmed at home via your phone or camera. The video should be max 5 mins. The deadline for submitting the videos is the Wed after each Zoom class. The content and deadline for each video is the following:

1. Sun Salutation for 3-5 yrs
2. Creative Sequence for 5-7 yrs
3. Calm Zone and Relaxation for 7-12 yrs

Class Plan

Write a detailed class plan based on the Children's Yoga Tree Class Plan structure starting with Transition and finishing with Relaxation. The plan should include a theme, age group and detailed information on activities. Please use the activities in the course or other activities from your own research or experience. We encourage you to get creative! You will teach a section of your class plan to your mentor group in your final assessment on the last week of the course.

Karma Yoga Event Marketing Plan

Write a marketing plan for a yoga event that will benefit your local community. This can be a one-off class, workshop or fundraising event. We would like to see what you have learnt from the marketing module. It should include the following:

• Outline of the event including theme, duration and brief content
• Detailed plan of audience and how you will market the event including local networks and social media
• Health and Safety considerations for your event

This should be one or two pages and can include posters or advertising if you wish.
